Description
The ruins of the first cattle powered horizontal sugar cane processing works built by John Houston McIntosh in 1825 in Camden County, Georgia. Tabby construction is similar to concrete but uses sand, grit and sea shells gathered locally. The edges of the walls can have very sharp pieces of shells protruding, making it wise to avoid rubbing or bumping into it.
