The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is an early wooden freight car, used on the Colorado and Southern line. This car, on display at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado. It one of many examples of displays at this fine museum. Also on display is a wide variety of freight and passenger cars, specialty cars, and unique hardware from the glory days of the Colorado and Western US railway heydays.
